Simple but tricky explanation

Just be clear of the confusion about the North and South direction. Direction is not absolute. North and South direction of the earth is defined by North and South Pole. East and West direction is defined around the rotation. (Longitude(N-S) and Latitude(E-W)). So if you go on the North pole and come 1 mile south (along longitude) and then traverse 1 mile south (along latitude, not exact straight) and then 1 mile north (towards south) then this constitute one method .
This is just a partial solution. !!!Dont mark your answer as 1.

Think if you are at south pole and you have to go 1 mile east where you will go…
